Completing paid online survey issues

Some issues that may arise while attempting to completing online surveys
What do you do if you get a page error or a page does not load?
This is a fairly common issue, it has happened to me on a number of occasions and I know how frustrating it can be. There are many variables to the cause of page errors but I believe that it is most commonly the result of a bad internet connection. Looking into the cause of these page errors can be important as if these occur to often the paid survey companies will begin to think you simply have a habit of not completing the work.

Sometimes the buttons do not work.
In particular there is sometimes an issue with being able to mark check boxes in a paid online survey. This is usually caused by your browser compatibility.
In this case you do not have a lot of choices on how to proceed. You can either simply give up or close the browser, or you may continue (if the survey will allow you to do so without filling in the check boxes) on to the end of the survey without filling these in fields. Make sure that in either case you let the company know that this has happened, make sure include in this feedback the type of computer and browser you where using.

Very slow page load time.
Some times this is caused by a lot of people participating in the online survey all at once; it may be worthwhile for you to put off doing that particular online survey for an hour.
In the past when I have ad this issue I have simply cleared my internet history in the options menu. Though be sure not to do this during an online survey as these surveys use cookies to track the progress of your forms completion and if the cookies are removed you will need to start at the beginning again.

This is another browser compatibility issue if you see this in the beginning of the survey it would be best to try a different browser. Though most online surveys are compatible with internet explorer 7 or above so you should you this browser were possible. My personal recommendation for an alternative to internet explorer would be Mozilla Firefox, it is a great new browser.

If there is another common issue that you receive in completing your online surveys please feel free to comment on this post and I will include them in this article.
